ADR Recording & Vocal Localisation — Bucharest

I've been recording and replacing dialogue in this studio for long enough to know that most problems in a vocal session are solved before the talent walks in. Good casting, a properly treated room, and someone in the director's chair who actually listens. That's the job. From central Bucharest I offer ADR and vocal localisation for film, TV, animation and games, working with a network of voice actors across multiple languages. If you need ADR in Bucharest for a single scene or a full vocal localisation in Romania for an entire series, this is the right place.

What is ADR?

ADR is Automated Dialogue Replacement. You need it when the audio from the shoot isn't usable, when a performance needs a second pass, or when you're releasing the project in a new language and need native talent to record the translated script in sync with picture. The process here is simple: you send the locked cut and the script, we sort the casting, and I run the session. The focus is always on performance first, technical quality second, not the other way around. I'm also set up for Session Link Pro so if your director or producer is working remotely they get a live feed straight from the mic.

Localisation & Dubbing

A dubbed version of your project only works if it feels like it belongs to the project, not like a translation laid on top of it. That means casting voices that fit, directing with the original performance in mind, and working from scripts that are written to be spoken, not just translated. I work regularly in Romanian, English, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Slovakian and Czech. If you need something outside that list, ask me and I'll tell you straight whether I can source the right person for it.

Voice Casting

The casting conversation usually tells me a lot about how the session will go. I keep a network of voice actors I've worked with and know well, people who take direction well and understand that the performance serves the story, not the other way around. For each project I put together a shortlist based on what the brief actually needs. Some clients come in knowing exactly what they want, others prefer to hear a few options first. Both work fine. The important thing is that by the time we're recording, nobody's guessing.
